I have been using a 64-bit portable computer running
Mandriva (Mandrake) 2007.1 currently. There is a
build error that affects me on every release of HPLIP.
To get around the problem, I have to temporarily
change /usr/lib/libjpeg.so on my machine to point to
/usr/lib64/libjpeg.so. If I do that the build
proceeds without error.
All other library references "seem" to properly
reference
the /usr/lib64 library prefix, as they should.
