I just wanted to pass on my thanks for the hplip program. Unfortunately my PSC 2175 died, so after doing some research I chose an Officejet 5610. I had it installed and working in just a minute or 2. hp-setup even configured the fax. In less time than Windows would have installed all the software, I was able to print, scan, and now have a lot to learn with the new to me fax possibilities. Thanks much for all your work. HPLIP was definitely a factor in my decision to get another hp printer. Keep up the great linux support!
