FreeBSD Users of HPLIP, (Just in case you aren't subscribed to ports@)
        I've finally updated the port skeleton to 2.7.9.. Reply to me off
list with any issues.

You can download it here:
http://am-productions.biz/docs/hplip-2.7.9.tgz

Quick Instructions:
cd /usr/ports/print && rm -r hplip && \
fetch http://am-productions.biz/docs/hplip-2.7.9.tgz && \
tar zxvf hplip-2.7.9.tgz && cd hplip && \
pkg_delete hplip-1.7.4a && \
make install clean

Make sure to read the pkg-message. You'll need to update your
hplip.conf and your devfs.rules file.

I've only done basic testing on my 920C. I didn't have my OfficeJet
handy.

Devs,
        Various patches are in the files directory of the archive if you're
interested. I needed to add back in the pidfile bits to hpssd so
that the FreeBSD rc system can correctly handle the service.
On a better note, the new version seems to be able to handle the
out-of-paper error condition properly now.
