In all honesty, the original #oggcastplanet channel on Freenode was rarely used by the admins even within the last 5 years as far as I could tell (let alone the oggcasts that used to use it and have faded away), and I've been on there regularly. I wonder if it's time to just retire the #oggcastplanet name for the channel and maybe create a #hackerpublicradio channel instead? Just something to throw out there.
As it is, Freenode is requiring registration and I don't see myself re-registering for that channel given what's happened with Freenode, especially since most of the channels I used to idle in on Freenode are now on Libera or OFTC (Haiku being the only one on the latter).
