I found the following text in the governance document:

 

> Once someone has been appointed Chair, they remain in that role until they
choose to retire, or the PMC casts a two-thirds majority vote to remove
them.

 

This was not in the voting section, so I'll add it there unless someone
objects. Should a vote for removal of the chair be done together with a vote
for a successor or are these separate votes? I think combining them makes
sense, i.e. we end up with a vote to replace rather than just remove the
chair.

 

What do you all think about this?
