ART GOES TO SCHOOL: BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF THINKERS

Natural Partners: How do schools and arts organizations work together to
achieve their goals?

The Puget Sound region is known for socially progressive initiatives that bring
together unlikely partners to get important work done. Civic leaders Dr.
Patricia Wasley and Norman Rice and arts educator Christine Goodheart examine
past successes in the areas of education and the arts locally and nationally,
emphasizing commonalities between arts organizations and schools, and sharing
examples of partnerships that have benefited student learning.
