Subject: Full Moon Screenings - Fandrich Piano Studio

Hey hey,

Tonight July 7, 2009 is the first in a series of screenings at the Fandrich
Piano Studio of movies about music and musicians. This is a free event open
to anyone who is interested. The film tonight is Once at a Border by Tony
Palmer. This film was made at the request of the Stravinsky Estate to
commemorate the 100th anniversary of Stravinsky's birth. Stavinsky's three
surviving children talk about their father, and there are contributions from
many friends and colleagues including Robert Craft, Jean Cocteau, Nadia
Boulager, to name a few. There are also important performances of Les Noces
in its original scoring, Petruschka, specially recreated for the film by the
Bolshoi Ballet in its 1911coreography, and much else. If you can make it
tonight, please bring whatever goodies you want and help spread the word. We
will start around 9pm with an invocation by Mr. Fandrich. The next screening
will be Aug. 6th with an update e-mail coming closer to the time. WORD!!!!
We hope to see you and remember: "music is the best..."
