Hello,

I will have two sketchbooks in 'Hanged, Drawn and Quartered', an alumni
drawing show at Cornish, opening TOMORROW night, Wednesday, November 4th,
5 - 8.  I will be there from 6 - 8, and would love to see you old school
Cornish peeps, if you're out there (Vroom??? Cait???? John Wells???????
Joe??).  press release below.

I will also have a solo show of my paintings at the Georgetown Art Center,
opening Saturday, November 14th, more info to come.  I will be at the
opening and would love to see you.

*Hanged, Drawn, and Quartered* is a group drawing show featuring various
drawings and sketchbooks by several Cornish alumni, including Joe Park(AR
’88), Rich Lehl(AR’93), Gretchen Bennett, Jazz-minh Moore(AR’00), Casey
Curran(AR’06), and Sierra Stinson(AR’08). Curated by 2009 Cornish graduate
Ian Toms, *Hanged, Drawn, and Quartered* connects artists working in
different mediums through the practice of drawing.

*Hanged, Drawn, and Quartered* is shown in conjunction with the Main Gallery
exhibition, *Gravity*, curated by Marisa Sanchez, Assistant Curator of
Modern and Contemporary Art at Seattle Art Museum.



Regular Hours are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm through December 3, 2009.

The show will also be on view from 5pm-8pm on November 4, 2009 during the *
Gravity* opening reception.



The 3rd floor Alumni Gallery features work by Cornish alumni on a rotating
basis. Situated at the main entrance to the Main Campus Center, the gallery
offers students, staff, faculty, and visitors an opportunity to view work by
Cornish’s talented alumni.
