911 Seeks Four Artists-in-Residence
911 Media Arts Center is pleased to place a formal call to artists
for a 2010 Artist's Residency at the center. Applicants should be
legal residents of the U.S and not matriculated students. Students
currently enrolled in school may apply for residencies that will
take place after their date of graduation.
Artists-in-residence will have access to the center’s edit
capabilities and video & audio equipment which includes digital
video cameras (SD and HD), audio gear, lights, projectors, various
video players, and iMacs loaded with: Final Cut Studio Pro 2 HD (FCP
6), Adobe Priemere Pro, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3,
Adobe After Effects CS3, iStop Motion, DVD Studio Pro 5, Illustrator
CS3, InDesign CS2, Color, Soundtrack Pro
To apply send resume, work sample, and a statement outlining your
artistic goals during the 12 week residency. Applications are due
March 15th, 2010 at 5pm.
Residency I April 12 - July 2, 2010
Residency II July 5 – September 24, 2010
Residency III September 27 – December 17, 2010
Residency IV January 3- March 25, 2011
