VJ Creative Jam Hosted by Videa - November 13th in Seattle
*7pm - International District*
If you are a visualist and you want make some creativity spark with your
fellow VJ's, come with your gear and projector(we may have extras).
It will look like something like this:
- Show up, set up, put up your stuff to whatever music is playing
- Break to cruise around and look at what each other is doing and ask
questions
- Reconfigure in whatever way we are inspired, change the music and JAM
by:
- Playing visuals off of each other
- Projecting in the same space
- Feeding visuals to someone's mixer
- Switching up the projection surfaces
- Switch to chill music and see what that brings.
I am so excited to be able to host this with Videa. If we truly want to
bring VJ culture to the Pac NW, I do believe we need to make culture the old
fashioned way - by having a blast making cool stuff happen with no outside
influence or other agenda. Just doing what we love and making it bigger
through our interactions with each other.
By RSVP only: This is not a public event. You need to RSVP to Tasara with
what gear you are bringing so we can consider power needs and then the
location will be revealed.

fellow visual artists, time to really stretch our creativity and share our
vision.

*We're planning to have the next Portland meetup in late October or early
November. The theme will be OSC, also known as Open Sound Control. Contact
