Hello Partner, We have the following requirement .Please help me out with the suitable candidate. C# / Silverlight / WCF .NET Frontend Developer Jersey City, NJ 6 months ongoing Must have Financial background or Big 4 consulting group. SUMMARY: The Frontend Developer will work as part of a small (3-4 people) Agile team to design, implement and unit-test Silverlight-based applications. His or her main focus will be on designing and developing distinctive UIs using XAML and C#, implementing smooth animations and creating high-quality and maintainable code. KEY DUTIES: . Be a team member, that is: participate in the design and development of Silverlight applications using C# and XAML, consume and build WCF services, participate in the design and development of parts of the backend. . Ensure your code is well documented, unit-tested and of the highest quality . Use your creativity and skills to propose appealing and sound technical solutions . Participate in the Agile/SCRUM process, including task estimations during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives . Come up with new ideas, new technologies or new libraries that can improve the development of our applications. REQUIRED: . 4+ years of experience building commercial-grade web applications using C# and .NET 3.5/4.0 . Solid understanding of web fundamentals: HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS . Solid background in Object Oriented design and programming . Understanding and working experience with WCF (contracts, bindings, configuration) . Prior experience working with Silverlight 3/4 and/or WPF is a plus but not required . Experience working with limited up-front specification in an Agile team that selforganizes and is loosely governed . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Well organized, problem solver, structured, flexible and self-starter . Able to work collaboratively with other Developers and Project Managers to ensure quality product development and successful product releases .
