*Description:*

The Enterprise Risk Management department is looking for an ETL Architect
with at least 6 years of specialized focus on ETL architecture and Ab
Initio v 3.x to assist the Data Architecture and ETL team to utilize proven
architecturally sound processes to extract, transform and load
risk-relevant data from a diverse set of data sources across national and
international insurance source systems.



*Required skills*

·         Ab Initio 3.x; Design & implement conceptual and physical
architecture to implement sophisticated and optimal processes by creating
high level graphs and Abinitio graphs for new ETL and Data movement
patterns.

·         This resource must have experience in re-engineering existing
Abinitio graphs and retro-fitting into the ETL end-to-end flow.

·         Implement Ab Initio templates and Meta data driven sustainable
code that will be re-usable across multiple projects within the ERM space
(Enterprise Risk Management) both current and future with a perspective to
be leveraged globally.

·         Ability to develop mapping documents within a defined semantics
layer and document source and target structures.

·         Work independently and within an existing Ab Initio Team to
understand functionality and mentor developers.

·         Incorporate features for data quality, control totals and
balances, metrics collection, and error collection as also assist in
implementing AB Initio tools such as Data Profiler and its common usage
across ETL & DQ teams.

·         Provide expertise in the area and an advanced level of
understanding of the principles of ETL in an Ab initio landscape within an
Oracle and Unix environment utilizing the parallel loading capabilities of
the tool.

·         Develops methodologies and standards for ETL analysis, design,
coding, testing, debugging and implementation.

·         Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive
thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

Influence and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may
communicate with external parties.
