This position will coordinate the tasks involved in testing immunizations HL7 messages sent between immunizations providers, the Delaware Health Information Network, the Rhapsody engine and the immunizations registry DelVAX. The Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) is responsible for the design, pilot, and implementation of the software quality assurance review processes. The QAS Specialist will work with Application Teams during pre and post assessment periods. The QAS Specialist reports to the Project Manager. For each phase end review the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible to plan, schedule, execute, and document findings of the review. Quality Assurance Specialists must have a detailed understanding of processes which support the software development lifecycle. The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for communicating with the Project Manager regarding the progress of the quality approach and a summary of the metrics. *QAS3 * Years of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years software development, testing and project management Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. *Ab Initio Consultant*** Location : Reston, VA Duration : Long term Rate : Market NEED EAD, GC or CITIZEN 3-5yrs engineering experience with Ab Initio products. Requires hands on experience in providing end-user customer support to Ab Initio users. Requires hardware and software engineering experience to aid in supporting developers, testing and tuning. Requires experience in infrastructure support; EME Administration. DESIRED: In-depth experience with Abinitio performance tuning and code optimization is a plus.
