Experience with project/resource management tools, project financial tracking, risk management, and software development life cycle and project management life cycle processes and disciplines. Experience in 1 or more commercial or custom full life cycle SDLC and/or Project Management methodologies. Experience in managing projects for development of software in a real time, 24X7 environment involving numerous systems and subsystems and interdependencies. Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Experience facilitating meetings with multiple customers and technical staff, including building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary. Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects or initiatives and multiple project management methodologies. Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to make clear, quick decisions and judgments in time-sensitive, pressure situations. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including delegating, mentoring, and coaching. Experience writing project plans and developing project schedules. Experience using MS Project or similar tools. Experience producing project status reports for multiple audiences. Experience in risk, change and scope management. Demonstrated ability to ensure quality through the software lifecycle. Passion and ability in providing excellent customer service. Job will require evening/weekend work to meet project deliverables. Experience in a wide range of software development technologies and architectures. Knowledge of general or commercial aviation Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and for providing a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports according to NetJets Project Management standards. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Projects will range in size from small initiatives to highly complex major business projects. Interfaces with other internal NetJets departments and external Vendors to deliver business solutions. *Major Duties/Responsibilities And Essential Functions: *40% Manage software development projects to successful delivery on time and on budget. Typically includes scoping, estimating, planning, resourcing, tracking, measuring, reporting status, managing risks, support transition, and project closure. Projects may be custom development or implementations of third-party systems. 30% Manage development staff including NetJets employees and contractors. Develop team and individual objectives in support of overall department objectives.
