DBA supports the development and enterprise production environment(s). The DBA is supporting project development, project modeling, client software support, web application support and/or non-oracle tasks support. Many oracle databases will be hosted and will require database administration. *Every oracle database requires database administration support. The list below represents the six most common ways to categorize the DBA role for managing oracle production environments:* 1. Ongoing, day to day tasks (without project deliverables), such as reviewing space reports and responding to non-critical requests for help. 2. Responding to interruptions or time-critical requests for help. 3. Development of DBA procedures and tools provides the database administrator techniques to work smarter and efficiently in their job. 4. Planned participation in an application development implementation or sustaining processes. 5. Perform non-related Oracle DBA task such as business processes and/or non-related oracle on-going support. 6.
