   Essential Functions:



   •Facilitates the review and analysis of business requirements as well as
   the design of solutions for new and existing applications.

   •Determines and gathers work estimates for projects.

   •Creates and maintains functional and technical design specifications
   and solutions to satisfy project requirements.

   •Identifies and evaluates vendor software and integration strategies.

   •Develops and codes applications to specification.

   •Identifies and implements appropriate testing strategy.

   •Executes all steps required to deploy/implement the application
   solution.

   •Promotes a self directed team environment. Collaborates with project
   team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security
   requirements.

   •Provides technical and design expertise to the project team regarding
   applications solutions and problem resolution.

   •Runs code and design reviews and technical presentations to cross
   functional staff.

   •Provides 24/7 on-call rotational support of applications support to
   users including issue resolution. Accurately repairs and documents changes
   to applications as assigned.

   •Monitors system and application performance and troubleshoot/ resolve
   escalated issues.

    Qualifications:



   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

   •Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS is generally required. Will accept any
   suitable combination of education, experience or training

   •7+ years professional experience in IT software development

   •3+ years of Java / J2EE development is a must

   •SOA / Web Services development is a must

   •3+ years of hands on experience with integration technologies is a
   must, Tibco is a major plus

   •XML Programming / XSLT is a must

   •SQL is a must

   •Oracle PL/SQL is a plus

   •Mobile application development is a plus

   •ETL technology (like Informatica) is a plus

   •Well developed written and verbal communication skills in customer
   settings and with internal management. Well developed active listening,
   facilitation and presentation skills

   •Knowledge of complex business principles and transportation management
   is a plus

   •Deep knowledge of IT software development life cycle methodologies and
   processes

   •Well developed time management and prioritization skills

   •Demonstrated analytical capabilities including complex technical
   problem solving

   •Ability to apply an understanding of in-depth functionality of multiple
   transportation-related systems

   •Ability to establish and maintain solid business relationships and work
   effectively with senior business and client contacts

   •Ability to mentor and guide others in technical skills
   •Ability to communicate business needs to technical people and to
   communicate and simplify complex technical information for non-technical
   people
