*Qualifications*

·         BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

·         10+ years of experience, at least 5+ years of hands-on experience
with the programming languages Ruby and experience in designing and
building large scale systems on open source platform

·         You should possess a strong technical background and a good grasp
of software engineering principles, exceptional problem solving, design,
programming, and testing skills.

·         Ability to research and gain good working knowledge of
technologies relevant to the strategic direction of the company.

·         Systematic and structured in problem solving approach. Ability to
generalize a specific problem and derive solution for a class of problem.
Ability to derive causal relationship from ambiguous data.

·         Ability to extend factual relationship to anticipate problems or
opportunities. Identifies, initiates, and acts on ideas that would result
in indirect benefits. Ability to drive innovation into and to continuously
improve complex solutions and products within the business unit.

·         Demonstrates ability to gain support for complex architecture and
to negotiate solution / architectural trade-offs.

·         Extensive experience with one or more messaging services (e.g.
MSMQ, ActiveMQ, Mule, NServiceBus)

·         Expertise in creating and maintaining large architectures,
including modeling and application usage patterns

·         Extensive experience with good design principles (patterns,
cohesion/coupling, S.O.L.I.D.)

·         Hands-on technical experience with SOA, design patterns,
application and integration architectures

Preferred

·         Bonus if you have worked with multiple languages like C, C++,
Java, Python, or Ruby.

·         Extra bonus if you come from gaming world!

·         Good working knowledge of MySQL and MariaDB .

·         Good working knowledge of multi-threading application e.g. Python
threading.

·         Goo knowledge on distributed, highly available and massively
scalable system design.

·         Good experience with virtualization, preferably on multiple
hypervisors

·         Excellent written and verbal skills.

·         Experience with working in open source communities: collaboration
using mailing lists, IRC and other distributed communications systems.
