If you are interested please send me your most updated resume. *Position: SQL DBA * *Locations: New York, NY* *Duration: 6+Months* *Job Description: * *SCOPE OF SERVICES:* Building and configuring multiple MS SQL databases non-clustered and Virtual environments for DoITT; implementation, designing, developing, configuring and documenting database architecture, including software, hardware and physical layout(Processor configuration, SAN luns, data file layouts); working with developers and administrators performing best practice best practice database functionally, perform ng DB tasks during SDLC, managing distributed databases, SSIS packages and SSRS, creating encrypted databases; creating and upgrading the DB replication, participating in functional, performance and security testing. *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.* • At least 4 years of experience as a database specialist playing a key technical role in successful data center optimization / virtualization / consolidation projects. • 4+ years of experience and expertise with Microsoft SQL database Administration and Development, Microsoft SQL networking and Multi-site replication (SQL 2005 – SQL 2012) • Must have experience maintaining enterprise clustered SQL Server infrastructure including strong experience with backups, restore and security. • Self-motivated who takes initiative and works well in a team environment with the ability to meet deadlines. • Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools, including clustering, load balancing • Experience with Windows 2003, 2008, SharePoint, Oracle, Microsoft Project, Exchange • Experience with V2V, P2V migration tools (Platespin Migrate & Protect, VMWare VConverter) • Ability to cross train and share knowledge. • Proven track record and oversight responsibility for managing SQL database migrations • Prior leadership experience in a large complex environment supporting MF, Windows, Solaris, AIX, Linux, Oracle, DB2, Clarity, Microsoft Project, SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, MQ, WAS, Web Logic in a CISCO network environment • Knowledge of technologies and standards, e.g. ITIL and CMMI standards and processes • Strong management, collaboration and team building skills and demonstrated experience working with both technical and non-technical staff • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, prior experience interfacing with executive level management, creating and giving senior level presentations. • Excellent analytic, organizational, and facilitation skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve or escalate issues and risk, direct priorities and make decisions, all under tight deadlines. *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:* • Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field • PMP Certification • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs—Power Point, Excel, Visio, etc. Thanks, *Ruda Titus* *IDC Technologies, Inc.* *Direct: 408-668-9713* YIM-rudabtitus *Email:* *rudati...@idctechnologies.com* <rudati...@idctechnologies.com> *IDC Technologies, Inc 1851 McCarthy Boulevard, Suite 116,Milpitas, CA, USA, 95035* *Website: www.idctechnologies.com <http://www.idctechnologies.com> .
