Position: Data warehouse Consultant
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 months
MUST HAVE:
· Bachelors Degree with 4 years data warehouse
experience OR 8 years data warehouse experience
· Experience with the Enterprise Data Warehouse
(EDW) and EDW project implementation and management (MUST have a
background in a Data Warehouse environment)
· Experience coordinating projects in a Data
Warehouse environment
·Technical background
Ideally
someone who came up from development prior to going into Project
Management/Project Coordination
· Previous experience as a project manager/in
project management functions
·Ability to develop and manage major releases to
data warehouses and/or data marts
·Ability to manage program management teams
·Ability to develop, coordinate and maintain
project and departmental budgets and cost/expense information
·Ability to build strong working relationships
with business and technical colleagues at varying levels of information-based
solution understanding.
· Ability to build successful team
environment
·Ability to assess impact of planned
implementations on production environment
·Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
·Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word,
PowerPoint and Excel, including charts and graphs
·Organizational and time management skills, with
ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
·Proven technical, analytical and troubleshooting
and problem solving ability.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills
