I would appreciate if you can refer someone for this position *Title : Business Objects Developer* *Location : Herndon, VA* *Duration : 6+ Months* Job Description: • The Business Objects Reporting Team Developer will combine technical expertise and advanced knowledge of Business Objects to produce reporting solutions from information stored in various systems. • They will be working with business customers to understand reporting needs and deliver Business Objects reports to meet those needs. • They will develop in Business Objects to generate ad hoc reports, canned reports and dashboards as per the specifications created by the data architects. • They will be responsible for Business Objects reports and universe architecture and design. • Should be able to confirm report design by working with business users, translate into report specification including universe changes needed and develop reports following specification. • 5-7+ years of Design, Development, Testing and Implementation • *Experience in Business Objects Product Suite (including 4.0, 3.0/3.1)* • Experience in designing and developing Universes using Business Objects Designer/Information Design tool. • *Experience in designing, developing, creating, modifying and improving the performance of complex WebI, Deskl and Crystal Reports with multiple data providers, unions, sub-queries, complex date objects, alerts and database functions. - In depth experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL.* • Experience with SQL Tuning • Expertise in scheduling reports using BO Publisher/Third party scheduler. • Ability to fully understand business requirements in order to challenge requirements when needed and provide alternative solutions • Experience with upgrade of BO reports from one version to another • Knowledge of SDLC • Strong communication skills • Knowledge of Agile methodology a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "as400placements1" group.
