*Java Developer* *Miamisburg, OH* *12 month contract* *MUST BE ON-SITE FOR INTERVIEW** ; LOCAL CANDIDATES* • Work in small, agile teams to design, prototype and build new product offerings and enhance existing products and tools • Collaborate with product owner to identify and prioritize performance related product requirements • Collaborate with external teams on performance bottlenecks and dependencies • Leverage personal expertise/experience to provide recommendations and constructive feedback in order to ensure a high performing quality product • Design, develop and document application and framework code in Java and Javascript and other front end technologies • Ability to write robust, high-performance, java code for our front-end applications. • Analyze root causes of performance related issues, implement resolution steps • Work with internal performance QA teams on system, performance and acceptance testing • Quickly adapt to changes, and work with team to assist in creation and implementation of those changes *Technical Requirements* • Familiarity with agile/iterative development methodologies (XP, SCRUM, etc.) • Strong object-oriented design and Java programming skills, including experience with leading open source frameworks such as Spring, JQuery and Junit • Strong Performance specific requirements including JVM tuning, concurrency, UI • Proven ability to implement industry best practices • Knowledge of JavaScript and web technologies for the *browser (HTML, XML, CSS, JSON) (3+ years)* • Experience using several *RESTful APIs to build out a single page.* • Real-world experience building very large scale, high availability applications. • Strong understanding of container management *example Apache, JBoss, Jetty* • Solid relational DBMS skills using *SQL server, Oracle MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle or other DBMS products* • Experience interfacing with *REST web services* • Working knowledge of development tools such as *Eclipse, GIT, and Maven* • Knowledge of continuous integration and release management tools • Knowledge of Cloud frameworks • Experience with *AngularJS a plusWorking experience with statistics and reporting a plus* • Working experience with scripting languages python, perl, ruby *Email is the best way to reach me.* [image: signature-logo (2)] ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
