We are looking for a Technical Developer for PSoft 9.1 PTools 8.54, and a
good developer. The person would have to be on site in Waltham.
*Position Summary*
- Will help maintain the current system participating in resolving
the issues logged by the users thru an online Maintenance ticket
system. Will assist in developing custom solutions known as
“Evolutions” and will design and develop robust solutions
- Will help and support the Functional Team in answering technical
questions and providing technical help when needed.
- Will document his changes and participate in meetings with other
technical members.
*Position Responsibilities*
- Provides technical development and production support services for
Peoplesoft Finance and ESA
- Work on Production system Issues; troubleshooting issues through
analysis of Peoplecode, Application Engines, SQR, SQL.
- Prepare resolution of issues
- Work on development of technical solutions based on new projects or
system improvements; areas of expertise Accounts Payable, General Ledger,
Services Procurement, eProcurement
- Document change and technical specifications in accordance with
methodology
- Demonstrate excellent people skills and determination to resolve
system issues according to expected service level
- Recommend solutions based on experience.
*Knowledge/Skills/Experience:*
- Bachelors Degree
- Related work experience: 4+ years
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financial modules
- Experience with Oracle Database and development tools
- Proficient with PSoft application Engine, Component interface ,
Integration broker , Crystal , Application Engine , Peoplecode , SQL.
- Excellent team participation skills focused on a common objective
- Strong Interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with
business, functional, and technical staff
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to evaluate multiple
approaches to a solution
- Some Functional knowledge of AP, AR , GL,.ePro and Contract
modules or any other PSoft finance 9.1 modules.
