*Responsibilities*
- Primarily responsible for the design and implementation of system
improvements, features and integration to ensure that they are scalable,
reliable, secure, supportable, and achieve business and IT Performance.
- Maintain documentation to aid in support, understanding and
communication of the implementation and operation of systems.
- Engage in cross-functional teams to create tactical solutions that
account for growth and new technology.
- Evaluate and recommend solutions for procurement when appropriate.
- Document and follow standards, frameworks and development processes
and procedures for the group to ensure standardized, consistent, and
repeatable performance.
- Review and accept requirements documentation and write and execute
unit and regression test plans.
- Mentor team members, at all levels, to improve delivery.
- Skilled in:
- OO, SOA, Middleware
- N-Tier Architecture
- Design Patterns
*Qualifications*
- 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Engineering/Science or related field.
- Knowledge of software frameworks, procedures, and practices.
- Detailed oriented, with strong customer focus.
- Tactical, with the ability to formulate solution options and weigh
factors in the decision.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with
others to resolve issues.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work and communicate in a group to maintain consistency,
adherence and quality.
- Experience in a large-scale, high-volume environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise OS platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of :
- Java, Perl, PHP, VXML, Unix/Linux, SQL
- XML, JSON
- Web Services (SOAP, REST), enterprise service bus, MQ, JMS
- Informix, SQL Server
- Skilled in:
- OO, SOA, Middleware
- N-Tier Architecture
- Design Patterns
- Telecommunications experience preferred: Holly/Voice Genie, VXML,
ICM/Genesys
- Knowledge of patent process preferred
