The role requires the person to act as an adapter between the UI evangelist and the application developers. Delivering projects as a team member with zero-variance performance Writing and developing Component Design components and associated Test plans Delivery of Design and Development work Assisting UAT and implementation Translating the Components Design into coding components Mentor and develop the technical skills of other software developers *Essential Skills: (Must have skills)* Minimum 10+ years of total IT experience required. Core .NET A proven track record of design, development and delivery OO development experience (OOPS, Design Patterns) with C# server-side development in large scale, multi-threaded business critical applications Good design skills using n-tier architectures (scalability, multithreading, caching, business & data layers) or SOA based applications Excellent understanding of patterns like MVP, MVVM, MVC etc. Is able to coach and mentor others in use of GoF, GRASP and other design patterns. Good Hands on skills in coding in C# Basic skills in Threading, Serialization, Performance, Security and Remoting .Net 3.5 and 4.0 frameworks Database skills (SQL/Oracle/Sybase), ability to write stored procedures *WPF Skills* Understands GUI development best practices. Can visualize screens applications and break it in to various forms and screens. Maturity level may vary depending on the number of years on experience. Exposure in customizing and extending UI controls like Tree View, Ribbon, Property Grid, WPF Data Grids, Oxy Plot, Avalon Edit, Fluent Ribbon, Amcharts, Xceed and more. Should understand XBAP Should have more than 3 years of experience in designing applications using WPF, Expressions Blend and Visual Studio 2010 or higher. Understands the WPF as a framework with decent knowledge base framework elements, the layout system, Visual Tree, User Controls, data binding, control template, styles and dynamic resources and animations. Must understand Dependency Property System Must understand the underlying Threading model and the use of Dispatcher class Must understand the concept of Shell and how it can be used with both WPF or Silverlight Should have written multiple custom controls and must have deep understanding in writing highly responsive user interface. Must understand PRISM and MVVM Should have good understanding of IOC, DI, and TDD Must understand challenges in rendering real time data *Soft Skills* Excellent communication skills Delivery focussed Client interaction experience will be preferred Flexible and responsive work style Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities Ability to multi-task and work under pressure *Nice to Have Skills: * Understanding of GUI frameworks like CAL,WPF Exposure to third party controls like Infragistics, Net Advantage, Xceed, Dev Express and others.
