right; i know how to make it work (otherwise this would be on the users
discussion list :)).
my point is that either it should be made to work with the WebServer
(unlikely, since that would undermine file: url browsing), or it should be
documented that it will not work out of the box with the supplied web
server, and it should be documented how to make it work.

incidentally, the "Demo Applets" page at 
http://hsqldb.sourceforge.net/internet/hSql.html
has similar issues.
but presumably the "old site" will soon have replacement content in the
new one.

It works where it is only if you are viewing it from a "file:" url, or if you are using
a web server that doesn't mind following ".." urls (many won't).
