I was able to compile htdig on AIX 4.3.2 using gcc v2.95.2; I overcame a problem with lex by installing FLEX instead (you might note that in the installation notes). BUT, htdig core dumps while processing the first entry. Note that I disabled shared memory during the configure phase. I tried --without-zlib as well with the same results.
