I've read the documentation, but can't seem to figure out how to make htDig
index anything more than the root directory. Consequently, the only thing that
gets indexed is the "index.html" file in /var/www.

I have a subdirectory tree with a great deal of content that I would like to
have indexed. The htdig.conf file has the correct starting URL ${start_url}.
However, as I said before, only that particular subdirectory is indexed, not any
of the ones below it. I.e.,

/var/www http://localhost/ Gets indexed.
/var/www/clients http://localhost/clients Does not.

I'm sure there is a way to do this, but the FAQ for "why can't I index my site"
isn't helpful because there are so many ways for this to go wrong.

Incidentally, I'm using Libranet (a Debian-based Linux distribution).

Any help would be appreciated.

Best wishes,

Ron
