Ciao guys,

I was wondering if we could "easily" port ht://Dig code in order to be
multilanguage. The case which led me to this problem is that, as PHP
programmer (big word?), I often use to send a different document to the
user depending on their 'ACCEPT-LANGUAGE' settings (which is usually
performed by choosing the language in the browser preferences). So ... the
same document, can give, as far as I am concerned, a result which can be
either in italian or english. So ... a document always carries with itself
a language characteristic (to be exact, every tag could have it, by adding
the 'lang' attribute).

This also happens when using the content-negotiation given by Apache,
for instance.

However, htdig always index the one with the default language, which is
italian.

Here is the question: do you think we can do some *workaround* to
enable this feature without getting crazy? And, as long as I have never
paid a lot of attention to this topics, whereas some of you may on the
other hand, can you come up with some ideas?

Ciao and ... anyone of you wants to come to Australia visiting me (since
july)? I will be in Melbourne for 5 months.
