Hi folks. Things are coming into shape for 3.1.6. There are still
a few things left to do, though. First of all, I'm still waiting for
Joe to determine whether 3.1.6 is indeed missing documents on his site
that it should be indexing. To me, this seems like a showstopper until
we can get some sort of confirmation that all missing documents should
indeed not be indexed.

Next, here is my current wish list, which I still hope to whittle down
a bit:

1. document startyear et al. in defaults.cc, attrs.html
2.  document text/html->text/html-internal in external_parsers
3. handle template file lists in htsearch, concatenating them
(suggested by Ferenc VERES, Sep 10)
4. add anchor_target attribute to htsearch
(suggested by [EMAIL PROTECTED], Sep 10)
5. handle noindex_start & noindex_end as string lists
6. a "match all documents" mechanism in htsearch
7. add extra_word_casemap to map cases for letters not recognised in locale
8. write accent_map support for accent fuzzy algorithm, to handle
    non-ISO-Latin-1 accents

What I'm having trouble deciding is where the cutoff should be. Items 1
to 4 are all pretty easy, so I don't see an impediment in putting them in.
Only problem is I'm quite busy these days with a new server installation,
which I need to get back to soon, so I probably won't be able to tackle
these for another week or more.

Items 5 to 8 are all more involved, but have been sorely needed for
so long now that I really don't like the idea of making them wait for
another release. I'm pretty certain there won't be a 3.1.7 release
(I know, I said the same thing about 3.1.5 & 3.1.6), and even if there
is it likely will be another year or more before there is one. So,
if we drop items 5 to 8, they pretty much will be limited to future
3.2 releases, and item 7 will have to be after the next mifluz merge,
because the WordType code will change.

What do you other developers think? Waiting for me to find the time
to develop all these items may delay 3.1.6 for a couple more months.
Is it worth it?
