Yes! Yes! What an Idiot I am! I had copied the htdig.conf file from the test
server and forgotten to change that line, not thinking about the fact that
all the programs use the one configuration file to override their built in
variables!

Is it possible that the compiled-in value is correct, but is being
overridden
by the corresponding attribute in an older config file you're using?
