Greetings Ted,

As I understand it, -i *should* remove all files before it starts 
digging.  In particular, it removes  doc_db, doc_index, doc_excerpt, 
word_db (plus word_db+"_weakcmpr"), md5_db, url_log, doc_list and 
word_dump.  Do you know which files were not being deleted?
