I will install htdig 3.2 beta6 and I will try this patch.

here my config:

endings_affix_file:   ${lang_dir}/french.aff
endings_dictionary:   ${lang_dir}/french.0
endings_root2word_db: ${common_dir}/root2wordfr.db
endings_word2root_db: ${common_dir}/word2rootfr.db
