According to Bard:

Also have a look at the "config" input parameter definition in your
search form, to make sure htsearch is using "htdig" (for htdig.conf),
and not some other .conf file.  Look carefully for typos in your
search form and config file as well.  If all else fails, you may want
to post your config file to the list for closer examination by others.
