Hi,
I tried to compile htdig on a solaris 2.6 box and I've run to
the problem of "No unsigned 8-bit integral type" when it tries to
compile the Berkeley DB. I've searched thru the mailing list
archive and I found that someone solved the problem: the fix was
to use Bash instead of sun's Shell.
I installed bash (bash-2.02-sol26 from sunfreeware) , open a bash shell
and try to compile the hdig BUT No luck, the same error came again.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong ? and which Bash shall I use to
get hdig compiled successfully.
