I try --disable-shared without success.
Where can i find informations about configure ?

No offense, but I don't see why this is "urgent." For one, this is a beta
release. We certainly try to make sure it works on a variety of platforms
and compilers, but we simply don't have access to a test machine that runs
AIX with the IBM compilers.

My first suggestion at the moment would be to try gcc/g++ on AIX. Beyond
that, I'd also suggest to try compiling after running configure with
--disable-shared. So far the 3.2 betas have been using the GNU libtool
program to provide shared library support. Unfortunately this does not
seem to work well with non-GNU compilers at the moment.
