I want to resend my previous message and report another example of the
bug in htdig3.20b3 I've noticed earlier.
The standard english dictionary (english.0) contains two words:
skate/DGRSZ
skater/MS
When searching for the word "skate" with the ending mechanism enabled,
HTDig searches for the following forms:
skate, skated, skating, skater, skates, skaters.
^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^
But when I search for the word "skater", the word list includes only
"skater" and "skaters", and doesn't include "skate". So, it's obviously
a bug in the search mechanism in HTDig.
Any idea?

I'm afraid I've found another bug in htdig3.20b3. When searching a word
with the endings mechanism, the program stops searching when the FIRST
occurrence is found, not ALL occurrences. In Russian words (I'm the author
of Russian dictionaries for ispell) there are many word forms that have
the same spelling but the different origins, and I want to find ALL the
origins and produced by them forms.
For example, some forms of Russian words "Germany" and "germanium" have
the same endings, and when searching for these words I'd like to find all
the forms. In Russian there are few words that have 3 different origins
for a giver word form. My question is what changes should be made in the
source of htdig to allow searching of ALL the occurrences?

P.S. BTW, in English there can be a similar situation. For example, one
of the meaning of the verb "wind" has the past form "wound" (wind--wound);
the word "wound" itself may be a verb (wound--wounded) and a noun
(wound--wounds). So when searching for a word "wound" I want get all
documents that contains "wound--wounds--wounded--wind". I know that with
the current English ispell dictionaries I cannot find the form "wind", but
this can be done using an "extended" form of ispell dictionaries or a
different dictionary.
