Hmmm!  Signal 6 is an abort, but you're not getting any error messages that
indicate where it's aborting or why.  This doesn't give us a whole lot to
go on.

Not too surprising, given that htdig aborted right away.

I don't know why that is.  I assume that //d/opt/www/share/htdig is your
setting for COMMON_DIR.  Did you install the common files there (i.e. did
you do a make install)?

Isn't Windows fun!!!???  If you can get a usable stack backtrace from
that, which would tell us which functions were called when htdig aborted,
we might be able to narrow this down a bit.  I don't know enough about
Windows or Cygwin development to be able to tell you how to get that.

Does anyone else on the list have any advice?

[By the way, Greg, could you disable HTML e-mail when posting to mailing
lists?  It tends to clog up the archives and waste bandwidth for nothing.]
