Strange thing: after my first index, everything went fine (no locale,
no accents). Then i did an update crawl, e.g. remove the "-i" in the
rundig script and executed the following command :

rundig -v -a -s -c my.conf

now my database is all corrupted. I mean that no single word returns
an answer and that trying to look at the words database with head or
tail I get only fuzzy characters.

I think I know the problem. I think I started the update without "-a"
then continued it with "-a". I believe this could cause what I am
seeing. Does a normal update clean up the problem or do I have to do
a "-i" ?

Is there a way to do some sanity checking before merging, i.e.
avoiding killing a good database ?

Another thing, in the log I get:

HEAD before GET: disabled
what does this mean ?

Thanks !
