I'm using htdig/3.1.5 on Solaris 7.
We've got a collection of documents, some of which have entities in the <TITLE>; the
title is returned in the search results. A tester noticed that the entities were being
dropped in the search results listings for documents that had entities in the <TITLE>.
The config file for this instance of htdig didn't have any translate_* directives, so
I added them. I still can't find a combination of translate_* settings that will cause
the entites to appear correctly in the search results.
Here's what I've found:
translate_amp: true/false and translate_lt_gt: true cause the entity to drop out.
translate_amp: true/false and translate_lt_gt: false cause &lt; to appear in the
HTML source of search results, with < appearing in the browser.
Any insights or workarounds?
