I have a few suggestions:
First of all, I'm still subscribed to htdig-general, and I really don't
need to receive two copies of all your questions, so please just mail
the list and don't CC me.
Secondly, I have some tips for searching the mail archives, which has
gotten tricky since the move to SourceForge and GeoCrawler. The search
on Geocrawler.com is not set up correctly, so any search you try will
fail. I don't know why this is, but for now you need to circumvent
their search. Instead, search directly on www.htdig.org, using either
the "Quick Search" field in the left frame, or the search fields in
the Introduction section of the right frame on the ht://Dig home page.
(Until a couple months ago, searches on htdig.org only found postings
on the old mailing lists, and not the new sourceforge ones, but this was
fixed in mid-July.)
A search for the words "Palladino Detillieux rundig" yielded 11 results,
and I'm sure that you can pick from there which is the one to which you're
referring. You probably are looking for the rundig.sh script for updating
databases, which is in contrib/examples/rundig.sh in the latest 3.2.0b4
development snapshots.
