According to Evaldas:

There's a new feature, available only in the 3.1.6 and 3.2.0b4 snapshots
(http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/) to do this. In these versions,
you can surround these parts of the page with
<noindex follow>
...
</noindex>
This is an untested addition, so if you try it please let me know whether
it works or not.
