You can use htdig -m in either of the 3.1.6 or 3.2.0b4 snapshots to add a minimal list of URLs to the database. With 3.1.6, you'll still need to run htmerge after htdig, which may take a while on a big database. See http://www.htdig.org/files/snapshots/ -- Gilles R.
