Hi, I'm new to the list and have a specific question.
I haven't found any discussion on this particular problem
in the archives or the HTDig Cygwin manual.
After doing the whole thing on our test-server i decided
to redo the whole process exactly step-for-step the same
way on our productive environment - which is software wise
completely the same, just "hardened". WinNT 4.0 SP 6.0a + Apache as
Webserver.
Well - the indexing goes fine, but after starting HTMerge
I get the error message "No Posix Subsystem found". After looking
around in the Registry and the WINNT folder and reading the
documentation
of how our servers got hardened i found out that the Posix Subsystem
was removed with the MS C2 Security Tool. :-(
Is there anyway of enabling the binaries with the Cygwin.dll only or do
I have to completely reengineer the server to make it work?
