Hi there!

I use htdig for quite some time now and I am very happy with it so far.
I made the university of Erlangen-Nrnberg use it as main search
engine... (http://htdigger.rrze.uni-erlangen.de, german).
Whatever, the chair for historical research (or something) wants a
special kind of excerpt - not only a single occurance of the key word
plus some text before and after the hit shall be displayed as excerpt,
but a list that contains the whole content of the paragraph <p> element
the hit was found in.

So I need to do some hacking and insert a custom excerpt routine, I
suppose. So where do I find that routine in the source and do you have
any advice what I should or should not do and what to take care of... or
something?

Best regards,

Peter Asemann aka Ace
