Title: htdig huge cpu process loads

htdig is launching many process on my system and clobbering the cpu.

A single cron script triggers the rundig script nightly.  I've removed the -i option from the htdig line in the rundig script, and do not use the -a option when launching the rundig script.  These are the only changes I've made, and I only did so as written on the rundig customization page for updating an existing db.

Any ideas what I should be checking or looking for?  Why would this be happening.

Thanks,
