I want to Dig an IIS Server that requires (?) an NTLM authorization in order to determine the access rights to certain files (access rights are through the NTFS file system - I know this is bad - but what can I do?).
I could probably find a workaround but I haven't yet convinced myself (all workarounds seem cumbersome). 1. Has someone equipped htdig with NTLM authorization or is planning to do so? 2. Is there a pratical way to setup the IIS, such that htdig can dig without any authorization problems? (I can't even get BASIC Auth to work on IIS) 3. Can anyone suggest a different solution? (I am thinking of setting up a second http-server (apache) parallel to the IIS just to provide the files to htdig) 4. Porting htdig to win32 and digging on the file system does not seem to be an option (all those external parsers...)? Oh, this is all in the intranet - no proxies, no firewalls, and I'm using htdig 3.1.6 (Linux) at the moment. I'd be grateful for any suggestions, Florian -- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -------------------------------------------- in-integrierte informationssysteme GmbH Am Seerhein 8 D-78467 Konstanz http://www.in-gmbh.de/ -------------------------------------------- Telefon +49 (0) 7531 - 81 45-0 Telefax +49 (0) 7531 - 81 45-81 _______________________________________________________________ Don't miss the 2002 Sprint PCS Application Developer's Conference August 25-28 in Las Vegas - http://devcon.sprintpcs.com/adp/index.cfm?source=osdntextlink _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
