There was a problem with the db file. all fixed after a rebuild of the index.See http://www.htdig.org/FAQ.html#q5.11 for the two leading causes of this problem. Given that you're using custom templates, I'd suggest the problem is likely with the names, locations or permissions of some of these template files.
