Release: htdig 3.2.0b3 and 3.2.0b4 As reported earlier we find search mismatch when indexing more than one domain.
It seems that on some circumstances htdig index and/or htsearch results are corrupted when indexing more than one web domain. When indexing any single of the complete domain set htsearch results are correct. When indexing more than one domain, we find mismatch between URL and other document information like EXCERPT, TITLE, and so on. This way search results point to wrong documents!!! We cannot give a receipe to fix this bug. Sometimes indexing works, sometimes not. The effect seems to be dependent on the document contents itself. We found this strange behaviour during an update of one of these domains when we added two new documents. After nightly index the search results presented corrupt next day. To fix this bug, we may provide config files as well as a set of our domains to fix it now. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ htdig-general mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, send a message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> with a subject of unsubscribe FAQ: http://htdig.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html
