I have found a similar line in my make output, although it quotes
"/htfuzzy/libfuzzy.la" rather than "/htfuzzy/libfuzzy.a".

I did not want to use a debian package because the 3.2.0 beta
releases are not in package form yet.

I ran htfuzzy manually, as well, but with the same result.
I would like to use the endings and synonyms so would think I need to
have htfuzzy working.
