Hi !
To make htdig index with French accents (French locale) on MacOS X
10.2.2 (Darwin 6.1), you have to modify ./htlib/Configuration.cc at
line 188.
Transform
String str(setlocale(LC_ALL, ps->get(dcGlobalVars)));
into
String str(setlocale(LC_CTYPE, ps->get(dcGlobalVars)));
And there you go !
htdig-3.2.0b4-20021201
Darwin ariane 6.2 Darwin Kernel Version 6.2: Tue Nov 5 22:00:03 PST
2002; root:xnu/xnu-344.12.2.obj~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc
locale used: fr_FR
Then of course you need the files from the French localization kit.
Thanks for the great work !
